Building Strong Families Data Set

Oct 2014

The Building Strong Families project explored the efficacy of programs geared towards improving child well-being and relationships of low-income couples. Couples were surveyed at 15 months and at 36 months after being accepted into a Building Strong Families program. Data was collected between 2005 to 2008. The data set includes data collected via coded video observation and telephone interviews. Demographic data recorded includes: race, education level, age, income, and marital status.

The U.S. Administration for Children and Families funded this project. Additional information about the data set is located here. Please see ICPSR for an online tutorial on how to obtain restricted-use data.
