Anne has worked on policy, practice and research issues affecting domestic violence and sexual assault survivors for approximately 40 years. After serving as a senior consultant to the Family Violence Prevention and Services Program of the US Department of Health and Human Services in 2005, Anne returned as chief executive officer of the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence, a position she previously held from 1994-1999. Prior to this national level work, Anne led the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence for more than six years.
Anne has served as a consultant to the US Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, The Lewin Group, MDRC, Mathematica Policy Research, RTI and Public Strategies, Inc. She has been involved in numerous efforts to build bridges between domestic violence and responsible fatherhood programs at the local, state and national levels, as well as to ensure that federal and state public benefits are responsive to domestic and sexual violence issues.
