Wendy is a family demography who has studied the patterns of family formation and dissolution as well as the implications of family structure on child well-being. She has been involved in an evaluation of a community healthy marriage initiative program. Wendy actively publishes in academic outlets and has served on several committees focused on ensuring accurate measurement of family life in national data collections. She currently serves as the co-director of the National Center for Family and Marriage Research at Bowling Green State University.
