HHS’ Administration for Children and Families is committed to supporting fathers from all walks of life because fathers are essential to the healthy social, emotional, and economic well-being of their children and families. We are excited to invite you to participate in the launch of a new National Fatherhood Summit to be held just in time for Father’s Day. This summit will focus on ways to support fathers across a range of programs. This inaugural event is designed to support and expand fatherhood efforts across the country. Through robust and invigorating general and breakout sessions, highlighting cutting edge research findings, sharing promising practices, and engaging in meaningful conversations, we will: elevate the essential role of fathers in families, communities, and society; place fathers and families at the heart of public and private service provision; and be the spark that inspires the fatherhood field to new heights.
Who should attend: The summit is intended for a broad audience, including practitioners currently or interested in serving fathers, current OFA Responsible Fatherhood grantees, federal, state, and local governments, community leaders, social service agency representatives, health and human service professionals, institutions of higher learning, researchers, philanthropies, and other stakeholders interested in exploring ways to support and promote responsible fatherhood. And, of course, fathers and mothers are welcome!
