In February 2019, the FRPN announced that 11 states were selected to receive our $10,000 state planning mini grants. The projects will run from February 1 – September 30, 2019.
The purpose of this funding is to enhance father inclusion in state programs and policies dealing with children and families. Recipients will involve a wide array of stakeholders to conduct planning activities aimed at improving father involvement and generating more reliable funding for community-based fatherhood programs. The awards will help support strategic planning efforts, interagency convenings and data collection activities designed to produce system change.

On a regular basis, the FRPN will lead learning community webinars for the state planning mini grant recipients related to creating fatherhood commissions and engaging state and local policymakers. These webinars and other tools can be viewed in the Supporting Resources section below.
